Cross Creek... One of the legendary areas of our local area. History buffs can tour the area and the house of Marjorie Rawlings or at the very least visit the Yearling Restaurant...
The yearling Restaurant isn't quite what it used to be, but it's a good place to visit anyway. The inside of the restaurant is way better then the looks on the outside. "Cracker" food - the old fashion Florida backwoods style of food, is the menu's claim. They do have frog legs and gator tail, but left off the possum favorites.
